    1. The list clearly states the Settings.apk is not safe to remove.

    1. It means I removed it on my device but I am not sure if you would like to keep it or not, based on that APK.

  4. Not a good list. Contacts and storage for example you won't be able to save contacts on your device and on some those will even stop the dialer from working. Where is this guy from ? What's he looking for a phone or mp3 player ?

    1. Please look at the "Yes*" vs "Yes". Safe to remove means its safe to replace or remove entirely with a stable operating system.

  5. Contacts and Dialer are safe to remove if you can replace them (example DW Contacts & Phone) But ContactsProvider.apk should not be removed. Mms can also be removed if replaced with alternative SMS-App (example Textsecure) and Mail+Exchange can be replaced with K-9.

Strange that its shown Playstore is not safe to remove but other google-related apps are safe to remove - the Playstore will not work if a certain google-related app is uninstalled ( example "Talk", "Maps", etc.) Onetimeinitializer is safe to remove but needed for Playstore-registration. Generally, all google-apps aka Gapps are safe to remove.

IncallUI, Pacprocessor, DocumentsUi, ConfigUpdater are not important and safe to remove! ProxyHandler, Shell, Sharedstorebackup, Externalstorageprovider, DownloadproviderUI, Provision are not safe to remove - systemimportant files!

  9. Great post! Would love to see extra column to the right with which apps can safely be hibernated with Greenify without becoming unstable.

  10. DocumentsUI is safe to strip, it will basically take away the frontend that has the left column that lists all storage+gallery etc

  15. I have in the past destroyed an Install by erroneously removing one an excess of Apps,on the grounds that I could.Enough can't be said in regards to removing an App just with a clear understanding of the repercussions.I now utilize Root App Delete from G. Play Store.Advice is offered on each App.that's what is hot to me about this App.I do things now a great deal all the more deliberately, having learned the hard way.I have a LTE Rooted Nexus 4 that serves me well.~Emily Reed.

    1. When I am "forced" to have certain Google apps like "tags" and "talkback" then I do consider it bloatware.

    2. Could you please elaborate a bit the procedure you described saying 'Let's run some commands(we will disable the app with Root access):' followed by three line code. Could you demonstrate with an example (e.g. android.smspush)?

    3. Why isn't it safe to remove gmail.apk. For me is gmail.apk the same like email.apk. Both apps are not important for the operating system.

    4. sivosh2000, there is an example.

tapp, you can remove gmail, but you want someone to make sure you are logged in with the operating system. These are also my personal preferences.

Was that intentional or just some typo errors?
